An application that was once installed onto a Windows PC will need to be updated. It is best that the system update is done on a regular basis as this will make your system perform smoothly. If you are busy downloading all the latest and most popular applications, then you have the right tool to help you. That is called a browser called Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer can be installed from the Windows installation CD or it can be downloaded from the Microsoft Web site. It will also come with the Mozilla Firefox browser.
Before you open your browser, it is best that you know where you are going and what you want to do there. You can use the search bar at the top of the browser window to search for the program you want to run. When you find the browser you want, click on it to see more options. The location is just under the web address bar. Enter the program you want to install and it will be downloaded into the program folder.
Once you have downloaded the application, you will be asked if you want to upgrade the Windows system. Click on yes. This will install the application. After that, it will automatically start. It can be installed onto a Windows XP or Windows Vista system.
